In this video I tried to illustrate the importance of using anguar (or circular) momentum to escape from submissions and positions while grappling. Every escape relys on you creating a ‘new angle’. The new angle (generally composed more like a circle) allows a new escape path. There cannot be hesitation in your movements…hesitation is usually death! To prevent hesitation and to develop muscle memory you must practice these movements over and over again. Make them a part of your daily warm up routine. You can practice inverting on a wall / heavy bag / person etc. Happy Training Ninjas!
